The decades-long drought is over. New York's orange and blue are champions at last! No, not the Mets. But the Knicks fulfilled their destiNY, capturing their first title in 53 years. We put a bow on their season as we continue to bask in the glow. Meanwhile the Mets, well they're still very stop & go. For how long? Nobody knows. Appreciate you listening to show!

After a series loss in the Emerald City, the Mets followed the yellow (and brown) brick road down to San Diego and rebounded with a series win. Now winners of 7 of its last 10, we'll discuss them trying to build momentum as they head home again. Meanwhile, the Knicks Texas two-stepped their way through San Antonio to a 2-0 series lead. We'll preview the next two games at MSG. Then we round out the show talking about the homestand up ahead with series matchups against two longtime N.L. foes, with the hope that the Mets' confidence grows. The Mets closed out May by returning the favor and sweeping Miami. With records similar as to the team in 2024, why it's naïve of us to feel like the same fate could be walking through the door.
